Situated within the Kochville Township corridor of Saginaw, Michigan, the DaVita Fashion Square project brought new life to the community. Sedgewick & Ferweda Architects transformed what was an abandoned building into a thriving outpatient dialysis center, prioritizing patient comfort. It features patient spaces oriented toward the windows and mechanical utilities discretely placed out of sight. Extended sidewalks, attractive landscaping and a new entrance canopy upgrade and beautify the exterior for patients and the community. A modest but important building, it harmonizes with its surroundings. This redevelopment meets the intent of the downtown district, enhances the visual curb appeal and positively contributes to the economic development of the area.
